Our ethos

Our name comes from the Hanseatic League – an economic alliance of trading cities and guilds that dominated trade along the coast of Northern Europe in the later Middle Ages. True to the origins of our name, Studio Hansa works in a way, which reflects the good things about the Northern mind-set. Applying simplicity with reliability. A no-nonsense, open-minded approach combined with intelligence and wit.

Key people

Based in London and led by Omar Honigh and Nick Scott, we work with a team of bright people from all parts of the world.

Omar Honigh, Managing Partner

Omar started his career at the BBC working on promo and branding projects spanning 7 years. In 2004 Lambie-Nairn hired him as Account Director where he worked on NOS, First Group and O2. Omar joined Kemistry in 2006 as their MD. He worked on brands such as NPO, Nokia, CBS, Wines of Hungary, Institute of Masters of Wine & NatGeo to name a few. Seeking fresh challenges, he joined forces with Nick Scott Studio and formed Studio Hansa in spring 2011.

Omar has a keen interest in wine and together with his partner they run Royal Somló Vineyards, a boutique winery in Western Hungary.

Nick Scott, Creative Partner

Nick began his career as creative lead at Static, a branding and digital agency. Working for brands such as Sky, BBC, StarTV, Virgin, Channel 4 and Universal Studios, the company achieved wide recognition before being sold to OpenTV. Later Nick worked internationally as an independent Art Director and filmmaker. In 2005, he was co-founder and Creative Director of Maud, A Sydney based creative agency before returning to the UK. Nick has collected significant international awards for work with clients such as Land Rover, Google, MTV, EMI on a range of projects from complete brand identity, to brand films, commercials and social media narratives.

In his spare time Nick is writing a novel, a screenplay and pursuing a number of other creative endeavours. He Lives in London with his partner and young son.
